RE: AAC Football Predictions
AAC title game: Memphis vs UCF

AAC Champion: Memphis

Sleeper: SMU

Honestly, we may be the biggest question mark in the conference. I believe we take a potentially large step forward in terms of depth, athleticism, and even coaching (especially on defense) from a team that was already trending upward but with the key losses and new coaching staff it's hard to gauge where we are. That and the schedule is much harder than it was last year. The only absolute loss on the schedule is at Michigan but the only absolute win is against an FCS team, sooo......

Not to mention recruiting is going well, tops on 247 in total points and doing nicely v. P6 and G4 teams in average per recruit on all sites. If Dykes can get 7-8 wins this year (mighty tough), watch out.

Eventually Memphis has to beat us. Will it be this year? Don't know but it should really be a great game if we happen to play each other again for the championship.

ECU fans: Kicked out of Big East! Kicked out of Big East!

Let me give you a little lesson on the outlook of Temple fans and Philly area people in general: we expect to be the underdog and we accept that our performance got us booted from the BE. Based on how we have not only come back but have had unprecedented football success, often at ECUs expense, since then, being booted was the impetus for our rebirth. Not necessarily a proud moment but one that changed our program for the better. Contrast with ECU who’s high point was being ranked #19 in 2014 until Temple knocked them out.

ehhhh no, our high point was waaaay back in 1992 when we finished ranked 9th. Maybe someday you'll finish that high. 07-coffee3

RE: AAC Football Predictions
vs P5: 1-1

Nice road win for the Bearcats. Tulane looked solid, and should have beaten a good Wake team.

vs FCS: 3-1

Tough loss for a Temple team that is expected to compete at the top of the East. Tulsa was in a battle, late. Memphis and USF do as they should. Memphis and USF appear to be at mid-season form.

vs G5: 1-2

The Houston/Rice game was an exciting cross-town fight. Rice appears to the much improved, but once Houston's offense started to click it was all over. Navy and SMU had unfavorable match-ups on the road.
