“Thankfully, UNC doesn’t have to be too accountable for its players’ flirtation with capitalism. The NCAA has allowed the Tar Heels to stagger its players’ suspensions, which enables the team to better mitigate the consequences of this very important disciplinary action.”
So they get to pick which games the players get to sit?
They might play their best players against UCF. Wouldn’t you want to avoid the embarrassment of losing to an AAC team? Also, if you truly believe we are inferior and your just aiming for bowl eligibility, then you play your best players in the winnable games.
Probably not the case since their starting QB will be out for the UCF game. If they indeed had a choice, they either don't find UCF game winnable or perhaps just prioritized in conference opponents.
Chazz Surratt wasn’t named UNCs starting QB and was in a battle with Nathan Elliot. Nathan Elliot is the starter now. They’re both equally bad.

The starting QB is battling just to keep his job. Out of all the other shoe hustlers busted only a couple are key contributors so don't chalk UNCheat up as a totally easy win. They are loaded with talent as they are most years with great recruiting. Their motto has always been doing less with more. They send plenty of players to the NFL for great careers but cant seem to ever do anything to get the monkey off their back of not winning a ACC Championship since 1980. Last years record is a freaky thing based on a bunch of injuries. For ECU it will be a tall task to beat UNCheat even with the players suspended. I hope they get two AAC losses on their resume this year

Don't worry, even if they were fully healthy and suspension free, they'd come up with an excuse.

That's quite a different summary that what I have heard from some area coaches. Word is UNC is horrible and a wreck in the locker room. Fedora likely gone unless 9-10 wins. UNC will be competing with ECU for worst team in the state.
