I'm of course partial to Tech, but there are some sweet helmets in this conference. I don't know what I like though. I really like the matt helmets and the chrome helmets. Lots of cool designs.

I like Tech's uni/helmet the best.

Although I like the matte ODU helmets, I really miss the tri-tone helmets we used to rock when we were a Nike school. I thought those were sharp.

Damn I miss the Rowdy head helmets. The Blackbird ones are still my favorite.

I miss the Rowdy helmets also. And though the Blackbird one looks really cool, I can't count it as my favorite because black isn't one of our colors. For me, it's gotta be our actual school colors to be in the running. Otherwise, it's like saying our uniforms look best when we're in Oklahoma State's colors.

clt says it is hard to see in photos, but our white helmets have a fine green “dust” looks great in person.

clt would also enjoy if we used throwback helmets one game.

In my opinion, this is the nicest North Texas helmet. It actually stays true to the school colors, minus the chrome. I've never been a fan of any uniform or helmet that tries to incorporate black or chrome. It's gaudy and done in bad taste. Stay true to your colors. Green and white. Enforce your brand with tradition.
