Well, if it's the Monarchs that win the East, it will be the West team that gets home field advantage. At the time of the Championship game, ODU will be two week into the demolition of the current stands at Foreman Field as we race to the have the new stadium ready for play in September 2019.

Is there nowhere to have it as a backup? In 2016 we had Independence Stadium lined up to host in case we were eligible. Its an hour away from Ruston. Theres gotta be somewhere nearby, right?
I am sure if the need arose, ODU would make every effort to host the game. The best bet would be the 30,000 seat Dick Price Stadium at Norfolk State. I have no idea if the administration has already had discussions with NSU for this contingency, but I would not be surprised if that was the case.

We’d likely play the game in our tennis facility. It could be configured for football and hold at least 45k. If the CUSA basketball tournament can be held in a football facility then the CUSA football championship can be held in a tennis facility
