Very tough, and I did not take it lightly. I've spent some time trying to talk myself out of predicting a 12-0 regular season record. I just think they will be that good.

I got them at 12-0 on my card too. In the discussion for CFP (and worthy) but will not get the invite to the ball. Slam dunk for access.

To be honest, I really can not see that. Beating Oklahoma is, certainly, the toughest task. We have, perhaps, a 1% chance. I can see Oklahoma being unprepared, looking past us, I can see Robison and Singletary having a whale of a game. But FAU, despite having a very competent defense does have an Achilles heel - we are very undersized and teams can run on us. Oklahoma, breaking in a new QB, will run. And run. And run. If we can stay with them, we can win. But, I am afraid, it's going to become a race and, in the end, we are just not deep enough to stay in it.

Even if we win in Norman, eventually, we might lose at MTSU or Marshall. Most likely the latter than the former. I still expect us to take the division and the conference but going 13-0 (14-0 with the bowl) is VERY unlikely.

I just ran into Lane at the Starbucks in town center. I showed him your post and he said they’re all W’s.

Joe, FAU will be good, but not that good. I see them at 9-3 and losing to East champion, Marshall in Huntington.

9-3 or 8-4. It's like seeing a pitcher for the second time. I think they lose to OU and UCF and drop one to two conference games... I'm not saying we absolutely will beat them, but we played FAU tougher than anyone last year, we return everyone and lose a turnover prone qb, and it's at our house. I feel that MT or FIU (rival game) could trip them up also.
