SMU doesn't seem to travel well when our game is in Denton. With Dykes making his debut, will SMU fans be more likely to travel up the road to Apogee? How many SMU fans do you see making the trip this weekend?

Can't blame you for that. The Big House is a must see venue. My big away game is Arkansas. Your old coach Morris knows how to beat us, and with a roster of SEC talent, I don't give us mush of a chance, but I've never been to Fayetteville.

Do you expect Dykes to be a better coach then Morris? He is certainly recruiting well. If our coaches can keep recruiting at their current levels, our series could get a lot more interesting in the next few seasons.

We finally have a defensive coordinator and we brought in 9 transfers

New OC has been great too. I feel better about this team than last year

Fayetteville is interesting. It's not Norman or South Bend but it holds it own. (disclaimer: I was there before the recent renovation were finished) That woo pig sooie chant is kinda creepy and cult like though. That's the only really weird part. Oh and if your name is Tulsa the refs will mess you over. We gotta play there this year too. Good luck to you and your Okie QB!

This coming from a fan of a school that packed about 2,000 a game in Hofheinz Pavilion to watch their team compete for a conference championship against quality opponents.

The Friday game sucks, but TCU will be huge for the usual reasons and it will be the biggest basketball recruiting weekend by a mile. Just a massively important weekend all around.

BTW, UNT fans please help the mean green beat the Hogs! Morris is so in over his head.

All kidding aside, I understand. It's a haul. I don't even make all of the UNT games; I end up selling my Club Seats from time to time. Last time I checked, Southwest Airlines does not have a direct flight from Horseshoe Bay to Denton. LOL

I'd rather have North Texas so we have South, Central, East, and North covered. Then, once we add Western Michigan, all will be perfect and we can finally summon the TV contract Gods for the ultimate payday.
