OK..enough is enough! You can go back to your board now.
Agreed. Most of you folks here on the ODU board have expressed valid thoughts and insights on the game. LU fans, take the high road here and don't beat down further the opponent. It's time to move on without gloating, which has a mysterious way of having karmic equality happen. If LU fans want to still stick mud in the eye of ODU then do it on the LU board.

Don’t overplay your hand. Good luck finding a conference - and trying to shake the “isn’t that the Jerry Falwell” school.

Why would we want a conference? We have a much better schedule because we aren’t in a G-5 conference. And will continue to have great schedules for the foreseeable future. Before we got the wavier we wanted into a conference because that was the only way to move up. Now things have changed.

When a large portion of a fan base acts like you’re an idiot, even resorting to actually saying you’re an idiot, you don’t just let it go. I’m going to soak it up. I could let it go but that isn’t as fun.

You’re in the ranks of Umass and NM State, not Notre Dame and BYU. Good luck!

It's pretty clear we suck! We know that. I wouldn't get too far ahead of myself if I were a Flame fan just yet. Yall haven't faced anyone really important yet. Sure they beat a down Baylor team in 2017 and we beat a down Marshall and Southern Miss team the year before. We know what happens when good teams are firing on all cylinders. Believe me, y'all will take bumps and briuses too. One thing's for sure, your team completely exposed our coaching staff. Now hopefully our officials will respond. The beating we were given might trigger change....

You won. Let that be enough fulfillment. It's egotistical to have to have more. You made your point and were proven right. Don't gloat or keep bashing these fans. Nothing good will come your way. Go to the LU board and boast and gloat and bash ODU all you want. You're in enemy territory here and can expect to be retaliated upon unmercifully here if you continue and you will not win your point. It's time to be wise rather than bask in the glow of victory.

As an Independent we are all in the same boat(minus ND). But our schedule is pretty awesome and it gives us flexibility a conference can’t. Obviously that comes at a cost. I see on these forums G5 schools get all excited about an away game at a P5 which is fine. But we have P5’s coming to Lynchburg as well as those away games. Because we don’t have to worry about a boring conference schedule we can do that. For me personally the variety every year of a new opponent is exciting.

Good for you since you don't have to play by conference rules and BS. Best of Luck.

No, you are UMass and NM state - and, in particular, that “Jerry Falwell” school. Don’t kid yourself. Your ability to buy games doesn’t change who you are.

Out of UMASS and NM State our future schedules are way better. And you are just grandstanding and talking out your ass. Money is exactly what changes everything. If you have it and have the ability to buy games that will change the perception of said school for the better. You cant keep playing meh games and expect a perception bump. Stick to your flawed ideas that in FBS money doesn’t change who you are and see how far that gets you.....LOL.
