As expected. An illogical top 25 ranking that was meant to pad OKLAHOMA'S ranked win total. 07-coffee3

I feel for my Temple brethren, and I am sad about that result as a conference fan.

However that loss to an FCS contender is far less tragic than MULTIPLE mwc losses to FCS last year and this year.

Remember that Bretty McDoucheBag ranked FAU #25 while leaving UCF off his ballot.

They have 1 play maker on the entire team and that's the RB.

That effectively eliminates FAU and CUSA from the access bowl sweepstakes. lol...that was quick.

Love how their fans tried to play off the Briles loss by claiming that Kiffin was the primary play caller. Their offense looked pretty anemic today against a big 12 defense.

Yup...and after shaking of the early jitters---the Briles offense looked pretty effective vs Rice.

SJSU is probably worst FBS team in country, every conference has their bottom feeder.

How about UNLV going down to Howard in one of the biggest upsets ever? (As in the worst FCS team to win, not the best scalp taken by a highly ranked FCS)

Who lost to Portland State last year.

In the category of "discussions that actually don't make you look good" I'll go with "our cellar dweller is still above your cellar dweller" and "our FCS opponent is stronger than your FCS opponent"

Not really. It is Week 1. Any team that is 12-1 is in the conversation, regardless of how bad their one loss was.

UNT seems to be decent. Time will tell.

It won’t matter. If you lose by 50 points to a P5 team you’re not going to be invited to a major New Years Eve Bowl. It’s just that simple.

Yep. Ask Hawaii about their bowl game with Georgia a number of years back. They did in whole conferences for awhile.

Pretty sure UTEP or Kansas is going to own that mantle.
