Syracuse was beating Clemson 16-7 before Lawrence got injured.

It was 13-7 but Syracuse was getting the ball and got 3 points before Clemson got the ball next. So if Lawrence came back (which he obviously didn't) it would've been 16-7.

If Syracuse can hang on to win I'm sure most people will ignore that fact though.

Depends on how the rest of the game goes. Yall definitely had control of the game in the first half, but that game is far from over. I wouldn't worry about what people are going to say until yall actually win.

As much as it pains me to say it, Alabama is absurdly good. I know they haven't faced the tougher teams on the schedule yet, but I think we're looking at a 95' Huskers level team here.

That's an understatement that they haven't played tough teams yet. Consider Arkansas State, La Lafayette, Ole Miss, A&M, and now a bad Arkansas team. PSU looked unbeatable until they faced Ohio State, and lost to them.

They'll be challenged by some I'm guessing, just not be the Cidadel (who they also have left on the schedule), in one of the weaker OOC schedules in the nation.

Do they look unbeatable today? Absolutely!

Well it appears that SDSU is taking care of of our last threat for the ny6 bowl bid for us. It's going to be very pleasant around these parts now that the g4 fans are going to fall back into the shadows again.04-cheers

Yup. The SDSU defense has been very impressive thus far. 19-7 with 7 minutes left in the 4th. Alberstons Stadium is was deathly quiet after the last SDSU score. Entire starting backfield for SDSU offense is out due to injury. SDSU is doing this using backup QB and RB's. .

I'd put my money on no one beating that Alabama team this year. They've dominated college football the last 10 years damn near with slightly better than average QB's. Now they have one that may be one of the best in college football. Also PSU never looked even remotely close to unbeatable as this team.

Except that if SDSU wins out and the winner of the AAC is a one loss team you still aren't guaranteed the spot.
