Incarnate Word @ North Texas: Game Thread
Game kicks off at 6:30, from beautiful Apogee Stadium. There is no TV, only espn+.

It should be an easy win for North Texas. Our starters should be resting by halftime. 04-cheers

RE: Incarnate Word @ North Texas: Game Thread
My prediction:
Seth Littrell says we have to treat every game like it’s just another game, regardless of the opponent (good or bad). That makes me think he isn’t going to hold anything back against this Incarnate Word team. He will pull starters once we create a really big lead (like 36-0 to SMU last week at the beginning of the 4th Q). I still think UNT wins this one 61-10. Mason Fine throws for 400 yards, 4 TD. Nic Smith rushes for 150 yards & has 2 TDs.

After Portland State, im always going to be gunshy about thinking of FCS games as gimmes. I know it's a totally different team and regime, but I still get nervous for these games. Hoping we rofl-stomp them early and can get backups in to cruise the rest of the way.

What in the heck is an Incarnate Word? I see it is a Catholic-based university, so are they a Liberty U. Light? (and boys, ya better watch out while you're in da showers!04-cheers)

San Antonio based Catholic university. Their program is actually older than Liberty's or UTSA's. FCS Team, play in the Southland.

Rain all day + playing an FCS opponent does not bode well for attendance

Incarnate Word started off around 1880 as an institute of higher learning for women. It was started by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. They also run the Christus health care system. Very very rich and respectable school. Nothing like the abomination that is Liberty U.

My eye doctor graduated from Incarnate Word. I saw her yesterday while renewing my contact lens prescription.

Bad News: we've looked really sloppy.
Good News: up 41-6 at half.

We won 58-16. Benched starters after 2-2.5Q. Got lots of reps for younger guys (including though our 4th string QB). We won by 42, but could have won by 100 if we wanted to. Mason had 418 yards, 4 TDs, & 1 INT on 25-40. Also, Arkansas lost to Colorado State, so I’m feeling REALLY good about next Saturday.

It was a good easy win for UNT, as it should be. But were sloppy at times and didn't run the ball nearly as well as we should have.

In my approximation, at this very moment in time, UNT may be the top C-USA team.

I wouldn't compare what a majority of the Catholic universities in this country stand for and represent in any comparison to what Liberty stands for."Liberty U Light"? You're about as smart as Mississippi mud ay? I like Southern Miss, but some of you people from that state are so F@*#ing dumb. Have been bringing down my city for way too long. Mississippi is the reason for the city of Memphis' decline. So excuse my distaste for a state that can't get out of its own way.
