Amen!!! I absolutely agree that there’s a lot of football yet to be played

Btw, ESPN is saying that Boise is the best non P5 team is bonkers....did not even mention UCF. I think that UCF are gonna get some harsh treatment from the 4 letter network

They’ll never forgive us for not tacitly accepting our role & being content with the table scraps.

The East is going to be much harder for UCF to win than Memphis taking the West.
I'm on the Cincinnati hype, I strongly believe they will contest the East just as much as USF.
I really don't think the East is a lock for UCF at all. Both USF and Cincy can put UCF in a position where if they lose to them they lose the East. Both should be favored in almost every conference game.
*UCF fans scream*

Looking forward to extending the Memphis losing streak to 0-12.

I think it's too early to know much about UC despite a win I am thrilled with. If it's ranking by quality of team right now I think I'd go:

Tier 1
UCF

Tier 2
Memphis
USF
Houston

Tier 3
Cincinnati
Temple
Navy
Tulane

Tier 4
SMU
Tulsa
UConn

Tier 5
ECU

Question: Is Temple better than Tulsa right now after losing to a ranked FCS while Tulsa beat a ranked FCS?

And is losing to an FCS team better than losing to the defending National Champs?

And how is ECU lower than Temple for losing to a higher ranked FCS team?

....I can't believe we live in a world where I just typed that argument.

If we have a quarterback, and I think we do, this will be the year of the Tiger in the AAC. Bank it

RE: Week 1: Rank the AAC
1. UCF - Have to give defending conference champions credit until proof otherwise. Coaching is important and there are big questions there. But they retain the QB who got them there.

2. Memphis - Again, Coaching is important and the Tigers are set. Memphis is the AAC West Champion until further notice. Brady White has great stats but should a game vs Mercer even count?

3. Houston - New offense looked great in the second half after numerous mistakes by Offense and special teams in first half. Tremendous speed by wide receivers! The running game had an especially slow start but we found a gem in Patrick Carr. The offense did not get on field as our secondary allowed one first down catch after another despite domination from our line lead by Oliver and Chambers. If the offense plays like it did in second half and defense holds up you should look out!

4. Cincinnati - Very Nice win

5. South Florida - should still be pretty good

6. Tulane - heartbreaking loss

7. Navy - destroyed by Hawaii. Not sure if Warriors that good or Navy that bad.

8. Tulsa - should be soild

9. Temple - dissapointing

10. SMU - The entitled Ponies ran into the wrong C-USA team and local rival, Ouch!

11. Uconn - no change?

12. East Carolina - I hate to see the Pirates in this position. Great fans!

Well, hopefully we won't face another passing attack as potent as Rice U this season!

RE: Week 1: Rank the AAC
1) UCF - defending champs who looked good in a conference road win by a big margin.

2) Cincinnati - held on for a solid road win against a PAC 12 team 3 time zones away. Easily the best win for the conference so far.

3) Houston - slow start but looked good in putting the game away in the second half.

4) Tulane - looked way better than I expected in the close OT loss to an ACC team. I thought Tulane had the win until the false start in the final minute.

5) Memphis - did not see play. Going by the box score. Likely to move up after I see them play.
6) USF - did not see play. Going by the box score. Likely to move up after I see them play.

7) Navy - struggled early against a better-than-expected Hawaii passing attack. Did not give up and almost made a game out of it.

8) UConn - looked out-matched against UCF.

9) Tulsa - did not see play. Going by the box score. 24-21 going into 4th Q against Central Arkansas? 3 lost fumbles.
10) SMU - did not see play. Going by the box score. All 23 points in the 4th Q after down 36-0. Ouch.
11) Temple - did not see play. Going by the box score. ??!!
12) ECU - did not see play. Going by the box score. ???!!!

I did not see Memphis, USF, Tulsa, SMU, Temple or ECU play. I hope to watch SMU v. TCU and Memphis v. Navy this week, as well as flip back and forth between USF v. Georgia Tech and Houston v. Arizona. Should be a fun weekend.
