but will say i might have overestimated ucf.....

uconn's qb pindell had close to 500yds of offense vs ucf....ucf was "supposed" to have a great defense ..i thus over estimated pindell....

i knew boise was going to blow uconn out, but i expected uconn to win the Time of possession and to have gotten many 1st downs killing time ..its been a 3 and out fest....

uconns qb will be lucky to finish with 110yds this game

Boise St has now beaten 8 teams by more than 33 points in the last 3 [pesik's preferred unit of time measurement].

Technically wouldn't that be your preferred unit.. again you are counting 2015 again if it's 8.. it's 4 with mine

You're so hilariously butthurt over UCF and spouting this nonsense in virtually every thread now.

We had an entirely new defensive system, new coach at every position, plugging in new players, and our best secondary player was suspended for the 1st half of the UConn game - and we gave up 10 points total when 1st or 2nd string was playing. OMGZ!! OH NOZ!!!

And our defense just pitched a shut out last game. That brings us to 10 total points against a 1st OR 2nd string defense in 2 games. MAN THEY SUCK!!!

This thread wasnt talking about points AT ALL

1) I said I thought UConn would only score 14 total.. I never actually expected them to score on boise...this thread was about sustaining drives and killing time of possession. I expected UConn to win TOP.. your response means absolutely nothing to what was being discussed

UConn couldn't buy a 1st down vs Boise

Pindell had 500yds of offense vs UCF and 120yd vs Boise most of which came from playing boise's backup

2) this thread was just about TOP.. but if you want to make it about defense we can talk about it..
Uconn's starting QB came in with the worst stats in the AAC among returning QBs who started ...
After his game with UCF he lead the AAC in total offense by nearly a 100yds.. he went on to being horrible vs the next team he played

You made a horrible QB look Great! Who cares if they only scored 10.. what happens when you actually play a good QB!!
That is the point I was asking in the other thread.. it gets harder

Good defenses keep teams way below their average (thats the barometer).. not drastically above it.. allowing a team that regular does 300yds (10pts per) a game to do 700yds (14pts), isnt a sign of quality defense or a bragging point
What happens when you meet a team that averages 40pts and 600yds per game?

Also all I said was that it was a bad sign..not that it was a definite that ucfs defense would be bad
