I'd like to see what Apps program looked like after 10 years of Judy... Hell after 5 years.

An apathetic AD scares the **** out of me. Cobb started leaning that way before he scampered off the Georgia State and it was a rough period for us. Y’all are in a much better place now post Judy.

I would never wish a Judy on anyone

Aside from tailgating in a parking garage I had a great time yesterday. Watched from the east stands, the endzone, and the press box. Richardson stadium is really nice. Great layout, great sight lines throughout. Charlotte had a solid run D in the first half and you'll be able to build on that passing game. Reynolds made some really good passes early.

Thanks for hosting us. See you next year in Boone. Hope a lot of you can make the trip.

UNCC has a great kicker, huge leg, and the QB kept getting up - big heart, he’ll be a good one.

Charlotte fans,
I'm not a believer in "moral victories" but I do believe there are positives that can be taken from losses. Your team fought hard last night. You have a solid running D. Obviously, your kicker is very good! Your new QB is going to be a very good one and he has at least one or two talented targets as well as a solid RB. I think this year will show progress for the 49ers!

Thank you for being excellent hosts at the game. You staged an excellent game. Good luck with the rest of your schedule!

I thought for sure attendance would be over 20k. Essentially allnthose extra seats only allowed up to put like 500 more in the stadium than we had against a&t last year.

It wasn’t due to the lack of App fans.

Congrats to App, their secondary was able to blanket our WRs and had enough pressure never let Reynolds truly get comfortable. App's rushing game didn't have to do a lot, we weren't able to get any pressure of our own and they moved the ball easily through the air.

Unfortunately, it was just another game where Lambert proved he was in over his head. You could blame it on the coordinators but we've seen this show before, undisciplined play on the field and poor in-game situational awareness. Glad this will be the last season we have to watch his "coaching".

Let's see if we can rebound against ODU, if the game happens.

Yep, if anything positive came from this game hopefully it's Lambert being one step closer out the door.

If any of you were wondering why App was giving up some decent runs on defense, they were rotating true freshman in and out of different positions to get them some meaningful snaps during the season, given the new "4-Game Redshirt" rule.

OK, two can play this.

Our starting RB left the game in the 2nd quarter.

Next.

Not that I'm defending eric but for the sake of accuracy, Lemay went out in the 3rd quarter. He departed shortly after the punt return TD with roughly 5:30 minutes left in the quarter.

App was substituting in Freshman to give them playing time, throughout the game, not because of injury. There is a bit of a difference.

He left for fun? Or he quit? Or he was hurt? I'll assume the latter.

The sooner Lambert quits the two QB system the sooner you guys may get to 4 or 5 wins this season.

Year 6 and he has 5 total FBS wins, odds that he adds 3 or 4 this year are low. The 2 QB system does us zero favors, not sure why he’s insistent on trying it.

Well I can't argue with that.
