As for recruits, I think it is incredibly shortsighted to pick a school based on "swag" and not the coaching, quality of opponents, exposure, facilities, academics, geography, etc. I think only the top recruits will be picky about the shoe brand since they can be picky with every team recruiting them.

If it hurts Liberty to change providers, then it would be ironic given the marketing campaign, "stand for something even if it costs you everything". Good coaching will overcome shoe brands.

If you’d like, but that’s a key component of a college or university even in sports. We can attempt to run away from it or ignore it, but it’s still going to be there. Just like sports, politics is a business and even religion (man made creation that is ‘supposedly’ connected with faith).
