RE: Week Three: Rank the AAC
The Big East:
1.UCF-defeding Big East champ until they are de pants'd.
2.USF-looking solid like it always does at the beginning
3.Cincinatti-big win at a probably bad UCLA.--but its UCLA so...
4.ECU-win over UNC last week and will not lose to VT this week
5.UCONN-played two very tough teams. Lost by a combined 567-17
6.Temple-May have to join Nova in their conference in a few years

CUSA West:
1.Houston-Coogs should beat Texas Tech but may Coog this one
2.Navy-Beat Memphis and lost to Hawaii...maybe Hawaii's good?
3.Memphis-A lot of talent. The Navy loss could be a fluke (trip opt)
4.Tulsa-Played Texas tough. Decent squad
5.Tulane-This may be their best CUSA team since 98
6.SMU-Extrondinarily similar to most of their other seasons; Bad.

RE: Week Three: Rank the AAC
Per Massey Composite (58 rankings):

19. UCF
35. USF
39. Memphis
41. Houston

Nobody else from the American in the Top 65. (Navy is 69. Cincy is 71).

Other G5 schools in the Top 45:

13. Boise

So per Massey, four of the Top 5 "G5" teams are from the American.

The p6 narrative is furthered when we have 3/4 or more of our teams in the top 75 and half of them in the top 50. There are 65 A5 teams (plus 12 for us is 77) every conference has at least one bad team so a top 75 is under the line. A couple top 25 and 4-6 top 50 is probably enough to prove the narrative if 8-10 teams are top 75.
