I think weather was a huge factor this weekend for most CUSA teams with an outdoor stadium. I know it was a big factor for North Texas.

Definitely threat of rain affected a lot for us I think. 22K was probably more like tickets sold/IDs scanned than fans there.

Well the ODU sell out streak is officially over. It was a nice run.

Weather was definitely a factor for us at Marshall. It rained off and on throughout the game but was a chance of rain all evening. Actually ended up with thunderstorms last night and this morning. Still raining right now too.

Incarnate Word will not draw no matter the weather conditions. Any poor attendance for UNT this week has nothing to do with weather.

Weather not an issue for MT. Our team and coaching staff are just awful. That's all.

Well you’re obviously ignorant. It was raining all morning and the whole day before. If you watch any clips of the game you will see the fans wearing ponchos. My brother and his friends already had tickets, but skipped the game due to the weather. I’m sure Incarnate Word isn’t a big draw, but to say that the attendance had nothing to do with the weather is is just stupid.

I'm sure our attendance will be amazing for the FAU game especially if the Georgia game goes as planned!

RE: Week 2 Attendance
With an FCS team visiting, attendance this week for North Texas was not going to be great. The weather made it even worse. Glad we were able to count 18,500 under these conditions.

If we beat Arkansas this week (which now looks quite possible), and follow it up by beating Liberty (which looks quite probable), we will see our first sellout at Apogee when we host LA Tech on the 29th. North Texas will unveiling our new 12 foot tall Mean Joe Greene statue, and break ground on our new indoor practice facility. I believe all 30,850 seats in Apogee will be filled on that day. 04-cheers

We should bring a large group of fans to the game too

If week 3-4 goes well for both teams, it could be big.

Not trying to be snarky but does anyone in CUSA have an indoor stadium? Very few teams period play indoors in college football, I believe, outside of a special game at an NFL indoor stadium (like Texas Tech and Ole Miss a couple of weeks back at NRG Stadium).

The average for USM will continue to fall for the remaining 4 home games. Any momentum we might have had died with the final interception. I’d be shocked if we had more than 17k for Rice in two weeks. FWIW we go to Appy St this week which will be another loss and put us at 1-2 to start CUSA play. And we go to Auburn after the Rice game. 03-puke

We (LA Tech) always travel big to UNT's Apogee Stadium. I expect between 4K and 8K LA Tech fans, depending on how Tech plays against LSU the previous week and how UNT does between now and then. Could end up being a packed house in Denton, TX on 9/29.

RE: Week 2 Attendance
We had some light rain that made the decision to stay at home easier for most fans. Losing to Maine has guaranteed a poor turnout for the rest of the season that will just get worse the more we lose. Only way it gets better is if Sanford has an identical twin that can actually coach and he steps in to stop the madness.

I think we will have about 35k for TXST. I think we had 38k last time they were in the Dome, but that was the game students were getting waved in by just showing ID(not scanning). Scanners were not working, and there was a massive student line because of the joint schools greek tailgate.
