Maybe NC will have to cancel some classes. Oh..... wait.

Can’t they just play at UCF and owe UNC a game? It’s a full week out...

Maybe not sure...

Sent from my Necronomicon using DemonTalk

after getting taken to the woodshed by ECU I think UNC is hoping this game vs UCF gets cancelled. Might be a 50+pt victory for UCF.

Nebraska is looking for a game. UCF and Nebraska share the same bye week. In theory, this can be one heck of a nationally televised game.

First hope it veers off.

Second if not the first, then hope everyone stays safe and the damage is limited.

Third damn that would, throw in the other missed games out there and you may see a lot of teams juggle a little this season to make things work out. WV, Clemson, Nebraska, UNC, etc are all effected. Might make for and interesting shake up of mismatches games.

Hi all,

Well, I live in a town called Knightdale, NC. Its just at the end of 540, east of Raleigh (about 15 miles from downtown Raleigh I would guess). I would assume that my fate is the same as Raleigh/Durham.

Am I going to die in my house with my Wife, or should we go west to Asheville? What are you doing if you are in Raleigh right now, or on Wednesday night?

This. It's just stuff, man. If you think you're in an area that's in danger - DON"T WAIT.

RE: Hurricane Florence
Remember, run from the water (storm surge), hide from the wind (hunker down). If you're inland and safe from flooding, you're usually better off staying in place.

And if your shelter doesn't allow pets, you sneak them in or find another shelter.

Their lives count just as much as yours!

Don't get on the roads unless you absolutely need to. Leave them open for those in real danger from storm surge.

Houston evacuated for Hurricane Rita. All six million of us. On the freeway. At the same time.

Rita missed Houston, no damage. But the deaths from that evacuation exceeded (by several times) the death toll from the 50" rain from Harvey.

Houston caught some flak from national media for not evacuating for Harvey, but it was 100% the correct call

West Virginia at NC State
UCF at UNC
ECU at Virginia Tech
Southern Miss at App State
Marshall at South Carolina
Georgia Southern at Clemson
Old Dominion at Charlotte

By no means the same as the Carolinas, Lehigh at Navy could be affected as well. When Isabel made landfall in 2003 in NC, the winds north & east of the eye pushed a huge amount of water into the Chesapeake Bay while all the rain drained into it as well. A huge portion of USNA was flooded. There were even sailboats on the athletic fields.

Good luck to everyone & stay safe.

If this rainfall forecast holds up the Tar and Neuse rivers could flood Greenville and Kinston again.
