Our series runs through 2025. Do you know if we are going to extend the series beyond that date? With the recruiting classes we both have coming in this season, it could be quite a match up going forward. Thanks for any information you guys might know.

Not a SMU fan but I think you should worry about Seth leaving for a more lucrative job.

If Kliff fails to get 6 wins this season at Texas Tech, Seth will likely be one of our top candidates. If I were you, I would be rooting for Kliff/Texas Tech to win the Big 12.

I think continuing the UNT-SMU is a slam dunk for both schools, especially since the SMU-TCU series ends next season, freeing up a schedule spot for SMU. I love when we play Houston but im not sure it's the best as an every-year series. That would lock down two of our OOC games and only give us two games of variety. Houston already has a pretty long term series with Rice going, which makes sense. Im not sure they would want to lock in to a second every-year game as well.

To me, it's fun for us as fans to have at least 3 games a year against schools we dont get to see that often. I like to try and hit a road game each season and I love to see new stadiums.

Ah. Gotcha. That would explain why it appears TCU only has one OOC game scheduled each year after next season.
