Both are not wrong. Especially since a lot of those thing cost tax payers money.

They are sporting events. End all the bs and get on with the games.

Maher is probably in the top 5 of people I would love to catch in a dark alley and beat senseless. In no particular order - Maher, Michael Moore, David Hogg, Jim Carey, Keith Olberman

How about this......

Forget the pep rallies & "protests", let's go back to the days when sporting events were about THE SPORTS.

Start the game, play the game, finish the game, leave.

Maybe play "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch.

He's right in this case. It's a dog and pony show and a big advert for the Military. Play the dang game. If we wanna have an anthem, fine...but singing America the Beautiful and God Bless America etc. at every game is tiresome.

Disclaimer - I love the armed forces, I come from a military family and work on an installation.

Locally the Navy has come under some scrutiny for the flyovers at the Jags games. I think Kahn pays for them now.

I just shook the hand of Army and mentioned my nephew entering as a jar head...,was at an auto parts store....thanked him for his service...went to shake his hand...he pulled back b/c they were filthy...."so are mine sir!"
