As reported by the Austin American-Statesman, U.S. District Judge Nelva Gonzales Ramos, of Corpus Christi, formally dismissed the lawsuit challenging the Texas voter ID law on Monday."

RE: Texas voter ID law
I never have read the statutory language of the Texas voter-ID law, so I don’t have a strong opinion about it. But I did read the language used in Georgia and Indiana that was litigated to the US Supreme Court a few years ago. The voter-ID laws in those two states is just about perfect and I don’t see why Texas didn’t just copy it.
