well, the title of the thread is that the FBI wont launch an investigation. My post was a basic summary of how America got to the point of you liberals wanting the FBI to investigate something that never happened 40 years ago because you get your tails kicked on election day, your radical judges days of legislating from the bench are gone, so politicizing government agencies is all you have left.

I don't like Kavanaugh, the right wing judicial activism he's going to bring to the bench, and what's about to happen to Roe and Obergyfell, but the FBI has no role to play in this. I think she should have the right to testify about what happened, and she is being given the chance, and if she chooses not to then oh well. It's not going to be an easy thing for her to do, but if what she's saying is true then she needs to do it and be a role model for other women who have kept quiet about things like this. If she's lying about this then she's scum who's doing more to hurt victims and make people doubt allegations.

If I were a betting man I would wager this is being investigated by a good portion of the news outlets. One person has come forward to corroborate and seems to have been discredited. That seems telling. Also telling is that the FBI has conducted background checks on this man and the alleged incident did not come up. If you've undergone an FBI background check you know how likely it would be an incident like this would not come up had it happened.
