Does anyone know whether the Houston Band is going to the UAB game? And if so, the entire band?

I do not think that the entire band will travel to Birmingham. In the past they have sent a pep band to most of the away games.

I wonder how many a "pep band" is though since Houston's band is about 300 or so.

From what I hear they should surpass the 300+ mark this year. How many are in the Blazer Band? Can't be too many from the posts saying they can't hear the band during the game or their halftime show?

We're not that big, but then again we're not very old either. This is just our 10th year to have a band, and in those 10 years, there have been 4 different directors, so its hard to build on anything like that. This year there are about 120 in The Sound of the Magic City.
