Pitt is 1-2 vs FBS competition going in to this game, including losing by 50 points to Penn State and also losing to putrid UNC, so how much credit should UCF get here?

Remember, UCF hasn't done anything to deserve being ranked #13. They haven't done any more than USF has, and USF is unranked. They haven't beaten anyone at all, they are ranked ahead of other unbeatens that have done at least as much, they are actually benefiting from last year's result.

They haven't exactly been tested by anyone they've played. They're destroying people out there.

With 130 teams, it's very hard to read into records until around Week 10 or so.

Pitt #35 in rushing, UCF 119 and Pitt has just over 100.

Except win. Let me know when they lose.

Tennessee State screwed it up.

Tennessee State 27
Vanderbilt 31 with 1:25

Tennessee State drove down the field with 1:25 inside the 30 yard line on Vanderbilt's side going on 4th and 4. Stupid on running the ball 3 straight time when they were making 1st down passing on 3rd down.

They've done more to justify their #13 ranking than Clemson has to justify their #3 ranking. And they've done a lot more than USF. FAU and Pitt are better than either Georgia Tech or Illinois and they've beaten them both by significant margins. They also dominated UConn and their FCS opponent while USF struggled with a weak ECU team and looked ok against their FCS opponent. UCF is a legitimate top tier team that could challenge in the ACC, Big 12, and Pac. USF is a decent team that would probably float around the middle of the pack in each of those respective conferences.

Edit: BTW its funny that you bring up Pitts fbs record because that lone win came against GT which coincidentally, just so happens to be USF's best win (a game they squeaked out). As for the PSU game, that game was actually 14-6 at the half if you can believe it. PSU did take control in the 2nd half just like they did in the Illinois game, but UCF's win against them is just as convincing.

Furthermore lets talk about Penn State and what they've done this year to deserve their #9 ranking. 4-0 including a nail biter against App St., two wins against crappy p5 teams, and a blow out against an FCS team. Their resume isn't any stronger than UCF's.

Not the point of my post. Quo was saying that UCF hadn't done more than USF which simply isn't true. UCF has dominated all four of their opponents where as USF has squeaked by their 3 fbs opponents and looked okay against their FCS opponent.

BSU has a good squad but they had their opportunity to show out agaisnt Okst and fell flat. UCF on the other hand is on a 17 game winning streak and 4-0 so far this year.

Really? Like what? Clemson just won a game against an undefeated team with what was really the 3rd string QB. What exactly has UCF done to justify their position? Beat up on a bunch of nobodies, like last year.

Please don't try to spin almost losing to Syracuse at home into a plus for their resume. I'm not saying that Clemson is bad but they are far from the #3 team in the country. As of right now, Stanford, OU, WVU, LSU, Auburn, and OSU all look like better teams. The ACC is extremely weak this year, if you threw UCF into it, they would be competing for the conference championship.

Clemson would boat race UCF and any other AACk program. Juat like last year UCF has proven exactly nothing. Their best win thus far is a team who lost to a team that they will beat by 4+ scores.

The ACC might be weak, Clemson isn't...they would have boat raced UCF last year and they would boat race UCF at this point.

He’s 2/3 tonight.

Neither team is good with 3rd downs.

Clemson's a little suspect. Of course yall should stomp every AAC program, least on paper, but then again yall should have stomped Syracuse today. Yalls defense is legit, the QB situation not so much. Obviously yall have a lot of talent. I think yall are a legit top 25 team but I'm not sold on yall being in the top 10. Maybe yall would beat UCF in a game maybe not. If yall played this year though, UCF would be the best team on your schedule and I think you'd be surprised by how good they actually are.

Bla bla bla

Nothing you have typed in the two responses backs up what you have said.

UCF might be good, but you aren't going to make that point by disparaging teams that have proven more thus far.
