Love the way we're playing but I feel for you UConn Nation. Stay the course with Edsall and he will turn it around. I just want to get outta the game without any injuries after we lost our starting center in the first half.

Love ya, but I cut off at 35-7. I was hoping Cincy would show weaknesses. No luck.

I thought Bob Toledo was the king of tanking, but Edsall might have him beat.
I've seen this show before....far too many times.

Best for the conference for UCF/USF/UC to remain undefeated for as long as possible. It's not like UCONN was in contention for a Bowl game this season anyways.
UCF, Boise, and Syracuse all rose in the polls after dominating UCONN. Hopefully pollsters see this whoopin and give the Bearcats some votes.

Tanking? More like rebuilding. I wouldn't wish 6 years of Pasqualoni/Diaco on my worst enemy (except if it's Syracuse/BC).

We have the youngest defense in the country. All Freshmen and Sophomores.

It also takes longer to turn around a team from than Northeast than the South. Smart recruiting is key.

No.
UConn doesn't really have a raft of superpowers that take the lion's share of local kids and fans before you even have a chance to build.

If only you could channel that dominance to BCS/Access Bowls and March Madness...

It's going to take a couple of years, but UConn will be back to their form. Edsall is a proven coach and I like the crop of recruits he brought in this year. It's going to take a couple of years to beef those big-frame O Linemen he brought in, but if/when they mature, Edsall will have the OLine his offense loves. Assuming he can develop the talent, then the Offense will go back to dictating the pace of the game, which will help the defense.
But it's going to be a brutal year this year, and probably next year too.
Best of luck to the Huskies going forward.

Thanks. I think UCONN Football/Basketball will be back by 2020.
Congrats on the quick turnaround. You got a real winner in Fickell. Keep him at all costs.

Edsal should have never left the first time. He did a good job last time. UConn has never been a strong football program, but he had a good thing going there and I was surprised when he left for Maryland. I didn’t consider it a move up. He basically backed doored into that BCS Bowl. but I particularly enjoyed his beat down of Spurrier and S Carolina in the Papa Johns Bowl before he left.

Al least UC is still getting shots on goal. I’ll take it.

Read no posts here yet. Just watched the replay on DVR.
I think UCONN's Offense will be just fine. It was fun to watch. Agree with the Announcers, basically all Freshmen on Defense was obvious, but they held their own in the 1st half. Seven Freshmen? That will improve with maturity.
