I will be very surprised if we beat both Marshall and FIU.

Too many new QBs in C-USA this year. We're all feeling their youth. Stockstill has the edge here. Any bit of poise goes a long way. Issue I see with MTU is D.

Let's be honest. MT has lots of issues. Not just the D.

The biggest issues are the OL and WR's (who dropped at least seven passes that hit them square in the hands). Brent was as accurate as I've seen him and our receivers couldn't catch to save their lives. And it's not like Brent throws hard to catch ball. He probably has the easiest to catch ball of anyone in the league because he rarely throws it hard and has less RPM's than most QB's. One of our guys at the tailgate said after the game our receivers couldn't catch a cold in the movie Outbreak.

The defense just held the league's best running back to 3.5 yards per carry on 34 rushes. They also held FAU to three points in the second half in spite of three second half possessions starting in MT territory. The question for the D is can they do this for four quarters? The first half against Vandy and the second half against FAU shows the defense can be great. Just need to do it for an entire game.

Yes, I use it, works great for cable TV replacement, gives most sports channels as well as part of the package as well as a few local channels, not to mention a good selection of regular channels. I do suggest that you have the newest firestick though (not sure what year they revamped it to a 4 core design with more memory), the old 2 core processor one would be very slow with this program and most any other newer streaming program. I also use PLUTO TV app on it to stream the stadium channel for free.

as to the game, if we play like we did against WKU defensively I think we can win, but not with all those turnovers on offense. The bigger question that no one has been able to answer is if green is good to go. Fans harp on him too much, I see all kinds of good things the kid does, he has a good arm, when he isn't pressured he throws that long ball pretty accurately. If the OLine will do their job with the run game and also give him pass protection I think we do win, if its another WTF is going on type game on offense, I am not sure we can, can't have the defense on the field for 75% of the game and expect good things. We have to take pressure off of green, he isn't mature enough to try to lead a team on his own, we need those running lanes to be there and our so called experienced line has failed yet again at that, same as they failed at it last year. No run game with a young QB equals an offense that can't be efficient. I hope each week that something gets fine tuned with them, corrected, yet we are heading into game 5 and its still a cluster ****. I also hope they make me eat crow Friday and prove me wrong that they can learn and do better.

As far as green being bad, well he really isn't, he is just "green" and still understanding how to take being pressured, when to run, when not to run. In the second half against WKU, he threw the ball away a few times when his head clock was expiring, he could have run 10-15 yards in those instances but imo has been pressured alot since the Miami game and still working through it all. Give the kid time, he is accurate, he has an arm and the rest will come. The lack of execution is a team deal, adjusting to what Cramsey wants to do and actually doing it hasn't come to be yet, when it does I can see this offense exploding, the pieces are there, the execution isn't.

According to forecast looks to be good weather this evening for football.

Should be a great ballgame, especially in light of the fact that the winner takes a one game edge over the loser, FAU, and a few others after Saturday night. MT should be extremely motivated. And Marshall has dominated us at their place. So, let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!!

Over/Under is 50, maybe if it goes to triple overtime.
