NC State and East Carolina will make up their lost games against each other
State will host the Pirates in Raleigh on December 1, provided neither qualifies for their conference championship game.
State had lost a home game against West Virginia, and ECU had cancelled its away game against Virginia Tech.

This is a good move by both schools, given that VT/ECU and NCSU/WVU were not going to be possible this season.

I'm sensing a hint of sarcasm here.

Good to see two state universities work together to help each other. North Carolina is miles ahead of Kentucky. Kentucky is led by a bunch of morons.

Perhaps the could jack up the ticket prices and give the excess to Hurricane relief.
There are many folks in eastern North Carolina that have lost everything they had and a lot of the flooded areas were well inland along the rivers where the people had no flood insurance. It will take up to 10 years for full recovery.

Good idea. Maybe UNC and Duke will do the same. They can jack up their prices in solidarity.

Clemson is talking with UNC-Wilmington about a Hurricane relief basketball game. Clemson's Brad Brownell was the head basketball coach at UNC-W before taking the Clemson job.

Perhaps UNC could return the favor by playing Coastal Carolina?

I'll go one step further. ACC (and maybe NCAA) schools could add $1 to the price of each ticket for all sports. The money would go to a fund to help those affected by natural disasters.

We have already paid for our tickets via payment and receipt of WVa tickets. They are good for December 1 as well as parking passes.

RE: NC State and East Carolina will make up their lost games against each other
I guess we can rule out VT vs. ECU on Championship game Saturday if both teams get left out of the CCGs.
Fellow Hokies, how does this work? Do the original purchasers get a refund for the tickets and parking pass or was it an assumed risk of buying a ticket that the game might be cancelled?
I know that no one received a refund from the VT vs. GT Lightening bolt that hit Lee Corso's car game and was wondering if I should expect a refund.

Is NC State more likely to be in the ACCCG than Virginia Tech? I'm pretty sure ECU is free that weekend...

We'll have a better idea about that next week, when State plays at Clemson. It's not likely that State could lose that game and still make the CCG. On the other hand, Tech doesn't host Miami until Week 12, though they could both play themselves out of contention before that.
If State does get to the CCG, Va Tech could still be ECU's plan B.
