True. Watching the 3rd Q, Tulsa was really riding Taylor and running right over us. But I thought they were going to break him they way they were using him. He was very effective but was getting hit by at least 5 or 6 defenders on every run.

Unfortunately for Tulsa he did get broken. The game totally fell apart for them as soon as Taylor went out. You could see on the sideline that he was having trouble just standing and walking. Both ankles taped heavily.

The 3rd down play when he wanted to come out was hard to watch both from a human level seeing this kid in pain and the arrogance and stupidity of the staff for keeping him in.

At this point im actually more pissed about out attendance than anything else. If i can bring my butt to every home game despite having to work early the next day, then the least people can do is stay past the half.

Our damn fanbase is so fickle! I have never left a game early... ever!!! Even last night i stuck it out because by god im a coog fan and ya there has been more bad times than good but so what! Its about being loyal to your team! Something alot of people dont have!

Sent from my Necronomicon using DemonTalk

Applewhite is boring and a horrible salesperson to market the program. Last nights performance was pretty lackluster---but the team played poorly and still won. There are worse things you can say about a team. The West Division is very open this year---and the team remains in as good a position as anyone to win the west crown.

Yeah I couldn't believe they kept him in. I'm hoping it was because they just couldn't see him signaling to come out. Couldn't tell on tv.

If they knew and still made that call. . . 04-chairshot

I mean I have seen injured players used to play fake, but needing two tough yards and giving it to a hurt runner 05-nono05-mafia

Monty needs to rotate RBs so they stay fresh. We need another Singleton or Langer to pound the DL.

I think Skipper is better right now. But that kid, that kid showed some flashes of a skinny kid from Owasso. I like the looks of him he's got the Moxy.

Why does it take till QB is Jr or Sr before any good? We need to recruit someone like T J Rubley! He was good from get go.

You can only do and expect so much from your redshirt frosh making his college debut. And he did pretty good until the end when the heat really turned up.

He's horrible in close games which are all about decision making. He's like 3-10 in games decided by one score or less. The jet sweep in our own endzone as a prime example. The end of this game or the Temple game this year show his attitude.

He's also responsible for every player on this team. He didn't come in to an empty cupboard, he bought the groceries and told us about the deal he got. President was suppose to be amazing. Than Skipper looked good and we were all like where has he been? Then he started looking a lot like President but not as good a runner. Now Boomer looks good. Or it's going to be the Baylor transfer. Or maybe Monty just rode Briles coat tails and while he is a great guy he isn't a good coach.

Meanwhile we have an O-line that can grind against anyone and two running backs that can break a foot off in the opposing team. We still tend to try and get cute, tonight we saw what is possible if we just play to our strengths. Our defense continues to improve and can cause issues for anyone if not put in repeated bad situations.

Every player should be required to hold a ball where ever they go and even in their sleep. Any player caught with out their ball, having their ball stripped, or fumbling their personal ball will be running the stadium stairs.

We are too young and too immature to overcome stupid mistakes. Shamari is our big play game changer so with out him it's even harder to over come negatives. Taylor may have just become our second big time play maker though and Boomer is a gun slinger with out a doubt. There are positives, but not as many as there should be.

If Monty doesn't turn this situation around soon this year, then I will have to think twice about season ticket next year. I restarted going to all FB games after Burns era.

People may call me crazy, but I think we beat USF next week. USF fans may come down on me and that's alright. But it's a Friday night game, a long way from their home in front of a crowd that may lull you to sleep. It just looks prime for an upset by a team desperately trying to break through.
