RE: Highest Paid FBS coaches
Hope we can be better than the 83rd best team in the nation. Then we’d be getting more bang for our buck.

We’ve got a long way to go for that.

RE: Highest Paid FBS coaches
I've used the #FireGill for some of the games but I will give him credit for winning two games not many people believed LU would win (ODU and NM). There is a lot to play for this season with a possibility of being bowl eligible. If LU gets to a bowl game, that salary is not too bad given this is the first year/transition into FBS. Long-term, 6 wins is not going to be enough to justify 947K IMO.

RE: Highest Paid FBS coaches
I think #83 is pretty fair for Gill and Liberty. I hope he wasn't getting that much in FCS for the state of the program there though. I don't know how much more is left on the buyout from Kansas either. I imagine it's been paid already.

Broken into quartiles, the top 25% cutoff is at around #32, 50% at #65, 75% at #97 which puts Gill in the bottom 25%.

Last reported FCS was 2015 and I think it was 725k.
