10 Year Later, The Maturation of Eric Devendorf
Behind about 50 Duke players, Eric was one of the most hated players in College Basketball from opposing fans. He'll forever, be remembered as a fiery, in your face player who wouldn't back down to the smack talk game. His shot in the 2009 Big East game against UConn was the start of that 6 OT game for the ages.

Well over the past 10 years he has played pro ball, got married and is raising two kids. He is now climbing up the coaching ladder.

A nice article detailing his life and his jump into the coaching profession.

Back in the days of those amazing College Hoops 2k games...

Lol the game took 3:46 to complete. The final game must’ve ended after midnight.

I think it ended at almost 1am. I think it was the 9pm game. Those were the days. Big East games were rock fights.

Yeah, it was about 1am. One of my sons said we would just have to wake him up when the game was over. My youngest son who was 13 at the time stayed up the whole game with me. I cant believe this march will make 10 years for that game. Neither team deserved to lose, but Im glad Cuse won. For some strange reason, UConn fans don't care much for that historic game. That game was what made the BE so special. MSG and the BE Tourney. Nothing else like it.
