Why wouldn't Syracuse try to lock him up now?

All Carolina had to do was complete a third down pass I could have thrown or caught and the game is over. So, to answer your question, yes that's exactly what you heard.
True, but all Syracuse had to do was put in DeVito much sooner.
I'll take the win though.
Cheers,
Neil
Still not sold on Babers. UNC looked almost like Alabama in the second half, against our defense. We should not have been in a rock fight with a big underdog like that. To be honest SU should have lost. Dungey has been way off since the Pitt game. I thought the team was struggling because of that. But its the defense. They cant stop anyone and I was surprised to see the defense hold up enough to win. Thank goodness for Devito. Kid has improved tremendously since the Western Michigan game.
Babers is a game changer at Cuse. He is the real deal... we'll be lucky to keep him if USC comes calling. I think the issue is with the defense and Dungey's dip in throwing performance. DeVito certainly looks like an elite thrower. I was at the game... night and day in throw velocity.
We will have to just agree to disagree on that one Mark. I was just about ready to hop on that wagon until the Pitt game where Cuse was favored on the road. He was thoroughly outcoached in that game. Then this near debacle at home against then 1-5, now 1-6 UNC. He was outcoached for most of that game as well. Thankfully, the UNC coaches made a few boneheaded calls that worked to SU's favor. Babers has also called his fair share of boneheaded plays and bad clock management in games this season and last. I really dont think we have to worry about anyone comes calling on him this season unless he gets to at least 9 wins. That wont happen. If the Cuse had lost to UNC, no one would be calling Babers a gamechanger.

More proof is needed.
