I'm surprised that a battle of undefeated P5 teams this late in the season doesn't get a better time slot than 3:30pm ET on ESPN.

ESPN has to serve several conferences...could be contractual

I'd still recommend we all email them to complain about it anyway:

I think they are trying to scoop CBS. CBS will have Alabama / Tennessee which shouldn't be much of a game. Meanwhile ABC will be showcasing a Big 10 game. By putting Clemson and N.C. State on ESPN while Florida State / Wake is on ESPN 2. I think they are making a play for the East coast viewers with Clemson/N.C. State and the FSU/Wake Forest game. They'll have New England and part of the Big 10 with Penn State/Indiana on ABC. Meanwhile FOX will have Colorado/Washington. So it seems the strategy is to draw as much away from what might well be a blowout in Alabama / Tennessee for a better game with more on the line.

Appropriate that as I'm watching UNC up 7-3 in the Dome there's a Freeze Warning for WNC -- in Tar Heel Blue.

Why is Patrice Rene for UNC wearing a Canadian flag on his helmet?

What's that sound I hear coming from Syracuse? Is it Tar Heels choking?

All Carolina had to do was complete a third down pass I could have thrown or caught and the game is over. So, to answer your question, yes that's exactly what you heard.

True, but all Syracuse had to do was put in DeVito much sooner.

I'll take the win though. 03-wink

Still not sold on Babers. UNC looked almost like Alabama in the second half, against our defense. We should not have been in a rock fight with a big underdog like that. To be honest SU should have lost. Dungey has been way off since the Pitt game. I thought the team was struggling because of that. But its the defense. They cant stop anyone and I was surprised to see the defense hold up enough to win. Thank goodness for Devito. Kid has improved tremendously since the Western Michigan game.

So do you know the word to "Hark, the Sound of Tar Heels Choking"?

I don't know what's worse to choke like UNC did today or to just never be in the game after two mistakes. When we dropped the TD pass in the first half the wife said - "It's over, just a matter of what other mistakes are made before halftime".

Clemson is head and shoulders better than anyone else in the league and now I see why Bryant was benched.

I wonder how many Louisville fans will demand a quick firing of Petrino if Jeff Brohm manages to beat OSU tonight. Score at the half is Purdue 14, OSU 3.

He is at Purdue solely because of Brohm, a Trinity alum and part of the dynasty family of Trinity.

Babers is a game changer at Cuse. He is the real deal... we'll be lucky to keep him if USC comes calling. I think the issue is with the defense and Dungey's dip in throwing performance. DeVito certainly looks like an elite thrower. I was at the game... night and day in throw velocity.

I sure hope he goes back to UL... however, some SEC team could offer him stupid money.
