That's true, the only one I can think of that had any interest at all by major powers is Iran Bennett and once they realized he may have trouble getting his transcripts they all backed off.

That's fine though, there are a handful on this roster that will be special and play very well not only in CUSA but with OOC schools also. There are at least 5-7 on this roster that will one day at least be in the Marshall HOF.

Dan and his staff have never recruited "star" players, he recruits kids with high character that can fit his system. And he and his staff have def hit on more players than they miss.

Id be hard pressed to trade anyone that plays significant minutes on this team to get someone else in this conference.

Which players are you referring to as playing significant minutes? This phrase makes it seem like you wouldn't trade anyone in your rotation for another teams player......

smart, Caver, Bracey, Jackson, Stith, Bryant, Hollingsworth....you wouldn't trade anyone in Marshalls rotation for any of those guys?

Im not trading Elmore, Burks, West, Williams or George. They fit Dan's system to well.

Also from listening to practice reports not willing to trade any of our frshman, this includes Iran Bennett.

Caver, Bracey and Hollingsworth might fit Dan's system, Smart is iffy and Stith I couldn't see. The 2 that would have fit Dan's system the most that was at ODU are no longer there in Talley and Porter.

Im not to sure also on how many could handle Dan's practices. If Dan has a 2 hour practice then you are running full tilt for at least and hour and fifty mins of that. You might get 2 5 min water breaks.

Dan might seem like a mild mannered guy in his interviews and press conferences but he runs his players over and over in practice so that a 40 minute game comes easy. In the past 3 years Ive seen some games where the other team got in a track meet with us and in the last 7-10 mins they just look spent. Dan has also had a few leave like Ky're Allison and Aleksandar Dozic that just couldn't keep up.

Your logic sounds absurd.

1. Those all cusa players are very good betters
2. Its not like they couldnt adapt to running
3. One of the no trades is 385 pounds.

I love that dunk. Elmore flopped back then complained and almost got stepped on. I can’t wait till we play Marshall 4 times this year. It’s going to be crazy. If Marshall gets hot no one can stop them.

I'll actually take the 67-66 win and leaving WKU out of the NCAAs over either dunk.
