The polls have closed, and like the media on election night I'm not waiting for the final vote tally to make my prediction. Buckminster Fuller will still lead the season race by at least three games.

That's not based on a crystal ball. Of the three players within five wins of Fuller's total entering Week 10, only 2 of their 45 picks are different than Fuller's. Both of them are Boston College.

Actually, a lot of players opted to go with the chalk this week, so there will probably be a lot of ties near the top. Only one player who has played every week has failed to crack the top 3 every time. I'm hoping to change that this week. If not, I'll go down in flames once again.

I think I smell smoke.

The Week 10 race will come down to who wins the Alabama - LSU game. Either way, Buckminster Fuller will retain his lead in the season race, but will surrender the lead in the rep points race.

If I stay up until the Alabama game is over, I'll post the details tonight.

Wow. You pick Pitt, BC, Syracuse, NC State to lose and Utah to win. Five wrongs.

Congratulations to Week 10 co-winners Wilkie01, CollegeCard, JRsec and TexanMark. Their 12 wins edged out Buckminster Fuller, Statefan, Hokie Mark, TerryD, and orange in VA who picked 11 correctly.

Buckminster Fuller remains in the lead for the season title with 108 wins, followed by CollegeCard (105), Wilkie01 (104) Statefan (103) and Hokie Mark (101).

With 3 weeks to go, Wilkie01 moves to the top of the rep points standings with 12, followed by Buckminster Fuller (10), CollegeCard (9) Statefan (8), esayem (8) and Otacon (6).

It's still a race in both contests. Nobody can rest on his laurels yet. I'll have next week's slate once start times are finalized.
