I'd say the top 5 look about right, you could switch 3-5 around as much as you wish and it would be about right.

Agree on #3-5. My top 4 today would be as the AP poll is but I expect Michigan to occupy the 4th spot by season’s end.

Ah, everybody but Alabama and Clemson would be badly overranked in a normal year.

Texas was as good a #7 as anybody else ranked from 7 to 25. And they beat the current #7.

I personally feel that after the top 3 (Bama, Clem, ND) every team pretty much looks the same.
