Last week he said UCF should have been ranked higher. This week he says they are #127. I can't believe it took that long for the check to clear.

Your listening comprehension is not very good. He said their SoS was 127th. He said UCF rated the 28th best, NDSU 29th on the 128th schedule.

This week UCF slots 23rd in Sagarin, with the 109th schedule. NBDSU slid to 31st on the 133rd schedule.

Sagarin's Playoff rankings:

1. Alabama 9-0 (44 SoS)
2. Clemson 9-0 (50)
3. Michigan 8-1 (18)
4. Oklahoma 8-1 (28)

5. Georgia 8-1 (24)
6. Ohio State 8-1 (63)
7. Louisiana State 7-2 (1)
8. Penn State 6-3 (12)
9. Iowa 6-3 (25)
10. Washington 7-3 (27)
11. Mississippi State 6-3 (30)
12. Notre Dame 9-0 (46)

...
14. Fresno State 8-1 (102) <-- the top G5 school !!!!
22. Washington State 8-1 (58)

If Penn St/Iowa/Washington occupy top 10 slots over Notre Dame, maybe Sagarin sucks.

The eye test fails both Notre Dame and Washington State. Both struggled against teams that you'd expect them to roll if they were legit top ten teams.

In G5 Fresno State really does look much better to the eye than UCF. So I think the Sagarin reflect better than the voters right now. Fresno should be the G5 school in the NY6 not UCF.

My point stands. One week he says UCF is under-rated. The next week he says they are not.

My apologies for not clarifying that the #127 was SoS. I'm just grateful that I didn't jump to a conclusion and falsely accuse somebody of poor listening comprehension based on a misquote on a sports bulletin board.

I think he gives too much credit to FCS teams. FCS over FBS games are usually upsets and rare ones at that. But I'm pretty sure he's the only one who ranks both FBS and FCS teams, so it's better than nothing.
