Memory Mall would be a great place to host it at. It could fit a ton of people. If we do get it, I hope our fans use it as a opportunity to positively show off the university instead of just ragging on ESPN over and over.

Also, Herbie would quit before he has to sit at that Gameday desk on UCF's campus surrounded by hoards of UCF fans and their signs. You can forget it.

Cuse being ranked vs ND in NY gives them an acceptable 'out'. Time Square is a cool location, it's ND, and they are playing a ranked P5 team. So it doesn't look like a bad choice per say. If cuse was unranked, it would be tougher to pull off without looking like you were trying.

Times Square? I'm sorry, but NYC is not college football country. There will be tourists, not fans. No signs, no nothing. That's not the type of crowd gameday wants.

Time Square is a cool site. They have done it before.

And none of that matters...its an out to not have to be at UCF.

Last year with people and signs.

Gameday on Time Square looks and feels like Good Morning America.

Hope they host it at UCF!

Agree. It is a totally different atmosphere. You hit the nail on the head. Its Good Morning America with a few signs carried by tourists. It wouldn't surprise me if those signs were pre-made by ESPN and handed them out to families to hold up.

Gameday should be on college campuses or right next to the stadium where people are tailgating like in Jax. Obviously, one cannot do that in the Bronx LOL

If it happens, I hope UCF fans behave as well. Memory Mall would have an amazing College Gameday atmosphere and that's what we should want viewers to come away with.

Certainly wouldn't want to earn a permanent College Gameday ban on our first opportunity lol.

Had UC finished against Temple I'd be very confident in Gameday heading to Orlando.

To be fair, that's also different enough to be gooood TV.

(And people do travel to NYC. In the early 90s, there were 250,000 people at a Garth Brooks concert in Central Park. So I'm sure the GameDay camera shots will be full of enthusiastic fans.)

EDIT: It's much less of an attraction if they just did it last year.

Well, this is a moot argument at this point. The cartel propped up Syracuse to have cover for bypassing UCF.

I’m all for this if and only if YK Kim is the celebrity guest picker.

The GameDay in Time Square last time was ultra lame. It looked like some sort of Today Show. I was waiting for the holiday cooking segment to air during the broadcast.

If they came to UCF they'd have thousands of fans lining every inch of Memory Mall. It'd be one hell of a rowdy environment.

That's funny. Back in the days, I knew YK Kim's brother in law. He was also one of the ninjas in the film.

Let us hope it is Cincy and UCF but knowing ESPN I would guess ND vs cuse.
UCF is probably the most deserving.
