If it were NYC it would have been announced days ago due to the time and prep it would require. It's not NYC.

Why would there be more prep in NYC? Especially since they were in Boston yesterday. A couple hour drive to the Bronx vs going all the way to Orlando. I think you are totally off base here.

smh. I'm not talking about the amount of driving required, I am talking about the fact that the permit and security requirements in Times Square are EXTENSIVE and require a lot of pre planning. If they were going to NYC it would have been announced well before. Last year, it was announced 2 weeks prior.

ESPN has been there and know exactly where they'd be and what they'd need. They would have announced by now.

The fact that nothing is announced tells me they're probably sorting through how to go to a location they've never, ever been to before.

You think they don't know what is required and had the necessary permits in place weeks ago if they wanted to go there? Come on man. ABC has a studio on times square. They are pros at logistics in these scenarios. That won't play a roll in this at all, they were looking at these 2 locations a month ago as 2 of their options.
