This was easily one of the better things ESPN did. Didn’t each season used to tipoff with a 24-hour schedule Friday->Saturday and you’d have games played at midnight, 2am, 4am, 7am, etc. I remember attending a Wichita/WKU game at midnight lol.

Cancelled it in 2017

It got cancelled because 'Merica needs moar hawt taekz all day.

I would say ESPN makes more money just showing the Champions Classic and their normal schedule than having wall to wall games would be my guess.

I remember going to a SC/Baylor game at like 10am on a weekday, it was awesome

What else are people watching at 4 am? If they can convince some Horizon or MEAC schools to play at that time, it's got to get better ratings than the 7th and 8th reruns of the 10 pm SportsCenter.

Wasn't the 4am et game always the Hawaii game(local time 11pm)?

It will kill ESPN and other "networks". It is just gonna take a little longer.

I despise the internet.

Just ESPN being dumb and ruining a good thing, if I remember right it was one of the few national TV games a Big West team would get, and Hawaii would get it's rare national TV.
