Seaton Halls win means probably three for the Big East with the weak bubble.

Texas is done.

Was Texas even in Lunatic's Last Four In?

They should've been done weeks ago.

Mostly just on the bubble talk. A Kansas win would have looked real good. Now they are 15-15 and looking for that NIT

Thank God.

Can't believe we've reached a point where 15 and 16 loss teams have received legitimate bubble talk.

Memphis is going to start looking bubblicious if things continue. They need tier1 wins but the bubble is very weak right now. I suspect it's a feature of the NET over inflating the power conferences. Kind of shows you how weak their argument against putting in more mid majors was, even rigging the metric has only created a bunch of poor choices. Hopefully that can play to our advantage as the individual team resumes in the conference get stronger.

its called NET score, which i'm now convinced was created to help Power teams.

They think a 15-15 (7-11 conf.) Power team is equal to a 22-9 (13-6 conference) non power team and that is asinine.

Again, if I was in the discussion, I would have agreed to the NET being used ONLY if the additional stipulation be applied: have to at least be .500 in conference. That would filter out this bull crap we are seeing now...

I agree. There is an self reinforcing closed circuit in place once conference play starts.

FTFY

I almost guarantee you that the Power Conference ADs were consulted when creating the NET.

LSU loses to Florida. Between that and the TTU loss yesterday a #2 seed is looking pretty doable for UH.

Wichita is playing so well they could win it all.
They're freshmen may have grown up, and this is real Wichita team.
I predict Wichita goes to the final game.

On the other side, Florida might move ahead of Temple on the bubble

They're solidly ahead of Temple. Temples looking at a play in game at the moment.

Not accurate. We're probably the #2 11 seed ATM

Good lord, did Gonzaga start a trend? Will all these guarenteed in teams going to tank to make it a two bid conference?

AAC is going to need to keep up. Looking at you Houston. Time to take one for the team. Want to rest up before the big run anyway don't ya?

Yeah a 30-3 team ranked #15 in the NET is garbage. Keep up the good posts.

I see Buffalo as realistically a 10 or 11 seed.

9 would be the ceiling.
