Well congrats anyway. Execution was awful on both sides. We were definitely the worst team tonight and a win's a win.
Maybe this is one step closer to a new ECU coach.

Agree it was a terribly-officiated game, and also agree that ECU got the worst of it.

But I chalk it up to simple incompetence. Do you really believe that Willie Fritz (or, Tulane overall) has some hidden influence over these things?

Could we work our way up to almost mediocre first to see how I feel then?

Yeah. That wasn't targeting. They barely touched headgear. He shouldn't have been ejected.

Tulane set an NCAA record today with 20 passes defended. Mind you, ECU threw 67 times so that warps the numbers... ...but still.

espn website says ECU attempted 68 passes, completed 21, and had one intercepted. 68 attempts and 46 incompletes in one game is (obviously) a lot, but could that really be an NCAA record?

I’m not sure what else that could mean.

One thing, though: all those incomplete passes probably helped the game to last nearly 4 hours.

Good game, ECU.
Happy for the W.
Beating ECU, even a struggling ECU, and winning on Homecoming are always a tough for the Wave.

It's so bad we are homecoming opponents now. Mo has got to go.

Oh now I get it! 04-cheers

The part about “AAC officials once again a joke” is what threw me off. Since that is so indisputably true, I thought your comment was being serious.

Well ECU's head coach and offensive coordinator are hot garbage, so it is only right that they own all the hot garbage records. The good news is that thanks to Tulane removing the last remnants of Mo's delusions of bowl eligibility; ECU will be getting a new coaching staff.

I hope that you guys make a bowl game. 04-cheers
