Im shocked. I didnt think they would want to head where there will be live before a potentially fairly hostile crowd. lol....That said---it could be really interesting TV.

I am taking Thursday off for a wedding. Maybe add another day to join the Gameday experience.

What other choice did they have? It's cupcake week in the SEC.

If they picked overrated ND versus ho-hum Syracuse, they wouldn't even be able to maintain the façade that they treat the AAC fairly.

Now they can say "well... we DID have a Gameday at an AAC game. What's your problem with this lowball TV offer???"

THEY DO, but may be in middle of negotiations right now, and not want to prod the beast.

I wonder if Notre Dames contract with NBC had any relevance. I am not pretending to be an insider, but it does not make sense to advertise a game all day long for a rival network.
