ECU's true freshman QB has been very impressive in games against Memphis and Tulane. He has size, decent running ability and a strong arm.

The talent that he needs around him is a new head coach and a new offensive coordinator. Both of those guys are almost certainly going to be relieved of their duties after the NCSU game.

He needs an offensive line that can protect and keep him from having to run for his life nearly every play. We get that fixed and we are on our way back to being competitive at least.

100% this. I think we have the talent to compete and win 7 or 8 games, but we have no coaching/gameplan.

He's great. He deserves a better staff than this. Hopefully he'll have one next year.

This is why Sirk played banged up and Minshew could never get it together last year. Look what Minshew is doing with a real coach.
