I have a feeling it was a mistake- the voter I'm guessing was voting for 4-0 Loyola Marymount instead of 1-4 Loyola-Maryland

The NCAA has the 2 points for Loyola Marymount, not Loyola (Maryland). The error was made by ESPN, not the AP.
