As opposed to CUSA 2.0? In the 2000’s let’s be honest CUSA was pretty awful back then too.
No BCS Bowls, Houston and Memphis we’re both horrible. The WAC was better than CUSA
Yes Southern Miss had some decent seasons but was it because majority of CUSA was awful?

We've averaged 15K students per game and had over 18K last game.

Considering you have what 55K students? Not good.

It’s a trend everywhere except a handful. Even Saban and the Bama AD called them out for not attending. They’d rather stay on their phones in the frat and sorority houses, eat, drink, have sex and watch MTV. Can you blame them? Lol!

Here's someone clearly in tune with America's young people.

Are you sure they aren't listening to their disc man or watching In Living Color?

FU! I used it as an example. Geezus.

The teams were far from as bad as you make them out to be, and even those that weren’t great we at least had a history playing. No one at USM cares about anyone on our conference schedule outside of our yearly beating of Tech.

You might as well have said going to the sock hop, it would have been about as accurate of an "example".

They were bad enough for Skip Holtz to win two CUSA championships. This new version of CUSA must be better because he hasn't won another since.

No, we had many good teams in 2.0, far more than the current version.

Agree to disagree. No you did not have many good teams in CUSA 2.0
Nothing you can say will change my mind because it's the truth. Those teams were having down years during long parts of CUSA 2.0 stretch.

Is C-USA like Congress in that everyone hates Congress but their Congressman is not the problem and constantly gets re-elected? If the conference sucks so bad and their is virtually no way to move out of it why do you self haters continue to watch an inferior crappy 1.0; 2.0 or 3.0 version conference.

Aint that the Truth! CUSA2.0 was really bad, the WAC was better.

RE: Student attendance
WKU finally got students to the game for basketball and now they are fighting in the stands because 6 students decided to stand for the entire game.....How soft are these millennials now days? Seriously students cannot stand for maybe an hour in a half total....Student section literally sat on the butts and stared at phone for the entire game and now since we lost to Indiana St, we will be lucky if they are back by end of Jan....WIll never understand students even when I was a student...Was not that hard for me to have fun and be into the game, heckle the opposing team, yell scream, etc...Now I guess cheering is not allowed, the 2 or 3 sellouts we had last year were amazing and students make the atmosphere so much better, you would think they would want to have that much fun again but I guess that is too much to ask...

I know WKU students show out really well for football games (and basketball games now, too). The problem for football was that half leave at halftime. I did the math not long ago, and WKU had about 7-8k students showing up for football games. That's pretty good considering our main campus undergrad enrollment is only about 14k.
