Wow. I just came back. First thing's first - great job Charlotte.

Secondly, I don't even understand what happened. Yes, we failed on three 4th downs deep in Charlotte's half. But, I think, the decisions to go for these were right - we have no kicker, so we have to go for it there. Yes, and kicking out of bounds didn't help. But it is still not explaining anything. Another collapse with a two score lead in the second half. I have no explanation for this. We were struggling with that in 2013-2016 and we are struggling with it now.

PS: Charlotte has one great kicker, FAU has two kickers who can not kick.

I was sitting in the section with all seniors' families (this was the seniors night). These people were going nuts. And not in a good way. When the promotional song "Kiffin keep winning" came on, they went berserk. This woman, who I took for Herb Miller's aunt, screamed "Kiffin win something!"

To be extremely diplomatic, they were disappointed to have their boys sent off in such a way.

I am so glad Cruz is a freshman. What a weapon.
