I'm hearing Lane Stadium is a ghost town... about 3000 Hokies fans and 2000 Herd fans was one estimate.

Not a good start fumble on the first play. Not sure Marshall is a motivated to play as VA Tech.

BS call gives VaTech early 3 point lead... refs called a fumble on the field, and it ended up being that the call "stands"... situation where Green's (QB) arm either was going forward or it wasn't... give us a "confirmed" or overturn it... cop out. Not good. We have a long scary history of ACC refs, in particular, jobbing us.

Refs are definitely letting them play... to put it nicely... eg, mugging we got on that first interception in the endzone... holding call they didn't make on the Hokie lineman who tackled our guy on the scramble that ended in the pass to the RB who walked into the end zone... pretty obvious facemask by the Hokie RB on the run to the sideline... Herd defense, and in particular our CBs, need to recognize that and adjust accordingly.

I don't think we can come back from 25, but if ever there was a game where I thought it was plausible, this is one.

We're running really well, and Brady is capable of 1-2 big catches, so we have the firepower to get 21 points in the 2nd half... we'd just need a defense or special teams big play to catch up. But it would also mean the defense shuts them down.

this is almost like we got a sweet deal from VT and were told to lose. Hmm.

Someone posted a stat (don't know if it's true) Doc hasn't been able to bring the team back to win when trailing by more than 7 points.

idk, but clearly the worst effort Marshall has made all year, the only bright spot has been the running game.
