But if Syracuse had all 5 defensive starters who arent playing, including the second best DE in the ACC, WV would not not be doing as good as they are. As it is they only scored one TD and that was because of an Cuse INT at their own 10 yard line. You wouldnt know SU has 5 starters out because the announcers keep harping on the 3 WV starters that are out.

This is another reason I would welcome a verdict for Alston. If the players are being paid they would be contracted to complete their play. If there is a reason fans are getting turned off to bowls, not being able to count on having the team you played the season with is one of those reasons.

Dont need to ask TCU anything. Clemson's great offense didnt eat this defense alive. Nor did NC State. The only defense that killed SU's offense was ND. We all know that WV isnt ND or Clemson. Maybe not even NC State. The fourth QTR is ticking away and WV is still being dominated with just ONE TD all night. LOL
