I enjoyed the 12-0 regular season, the playoff berth and the fact that ya'll had to wait 14 games to unload on ND.

(But man, did they get their asses kicked tonight)

Looking forward to next season. Go Irish.

The game exposed ND's depth. Clemson lost an All-American DT but their D-line didn't miss a beat. ND lost their All-American CB in the first quarter, and suddenly they couldn't defend the deep ball, game over.

Clemson's last 4 years are IMO the best 4 years any ACC team has ever had, even beating the best 4 year stretch any of Bowden's 1990s FSU teams had. I would say his best four-year bloc was 1997 - 2000, but I would take these Clemson teams over them even if you lose the title game to Alabama.

Mad respect for what the Tigers have accomplished and if one is looking specifically at a consecutive 4-year stretch, I agree this Clemson run beats out any 4 year stretch by the Noles. But they have a long ways to go to match FSU's 14 year stretch from 1987 to 2000.

I still maintain Florida State is the greatest expansion get ever.

Cheers,
Neil
