Notre Dame doesn't suck. It did go 12-0. They had an easy schedule and got completely exposed in the playoff.

With the Northwestern and Stanford wins, the Irish finish the season with victories over two 10-win teams and two 9-win teams by an average margin of 18 points in the four games. Not bad.

Easy schedule? It is damn hard to go 12-0 in the regular season. See above.
