I’ve been on these boards for about 15 years and I remember Wilkie when Louisville was in C-USA. We’ve lost a few long time posters like Wilkie, Observer, Gray Avenger and Tallgrass.

Does anybody know what happened to “bit”? He was a WVU fan who lived in Knoxville. I believe he was a mod too.

Bitcruncher had a LOT of health issues. He survived more accidents and surgeries than anyone I had ever heard of. He like a lot of WV fans left this board after the "Dude of WV" and all of his rumor mongering came to an end after the ACC signed a GOR and entered into an agreement with ESPN for an ACCN which really stabilized the ACC and then the B12 became very unstable. ACC fans really let the WV fans have it. Most of them couldnt take it and left, including Bit. A couple of years ago I saw him posting on a WV board.

I dont think I heard about Tallgrass.

Thanks for the update. I remember he mentioned having health issues. As for Tallgrass, TexanMark mentioned a few months ago he passed away. Last time I saw his posting was when Tulsa accepted to join the American and he wasn’t happy about it. He wanted Tulsa to stay in C-USA. In hindsight, he was probably right.

The Dude of WV. Tuxedo Yoda. Those were the days. Realignment killed a lot of rivalries and it’s a shame WVU and a few ACC schools don’t play anymore. I think WVU made a good decision, they have a lot in common with their conference mates except for geography and the fans I’ve met here in Dallas like having Texas and Oklahoma in football and a blue blood in basketball. That WVU-Kansas game last week was great. But like all the Big East defectors found out, competing in a stronger league is not easy. Just ask Rutgers in the B1G East.

I am friends with Bit on Facebook. He is still hanging in there.
Please tell Bit we miss him and that he should come back to our board.
